Kargilik is also known by the Chinese name Yecheng.
Here, our luggage and SUV's arrive at the Ye Cheng Electricity
Hotel, the only hotel in town which accepts foreigners. Note
the mosaic parking area; all of the sidewalks in Kargilik were
paved with mosaic tiles.
A pedal taxi passes in front of a dress shop across
the street from the hotel.
